Nancy Eiseman Group – New to Ravelry – 25% off Dots & Knots pattern for KAL all of May 2017

Last week I received a Ravelry note from a knitter asking me if I might be interested in starting a “Nancy Eiseman” group on Ravelry.  She and a friend were planning a two person KAl of the Dots & Knots Cardigan and they were interested in joining my group. For years I have been thinking that I need a Ravelry group and this lovely knitter gave me the push that I needed. The group is now officially on Ravelry! .

Plucky Knitter and the Changing Currents Cardigan

When I received the beautiful Plucky Knitter Bello Worsted I was immediately in love. The yarn is so soft and luxurious with fabulous drape. The color (Big Sky) is rich with subtle tones and depth. I wanted to design something extra special for this extra special yarn. I had a few ideas, but they were all too basic. To be extra special, the design needed to be unique, yet true to my simple aesthetic. It .

Mix & Match Fingerless Mitts

The Mix & Match Fingerless Mitts pattern was a collaboration with my husband’s cousin Susan who provided the beautiful yarn. Susan hand dyes yarns and sells the yarns at craft and yarn shows. Her yarns are a lovely quality and her palette is full of strong, bright colors. Her business is called A Riot of Color and she will have booth at Rhinebeck (NY Sheep and Wool Festival) this year. I loved the idea .
Spud & Chloe Sweater yarn

Spud & Chloe Sweater yarn

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Spud & Chloe’s Sweater yarn when making the Aster Cardigan! I liked the feel, the color, the weight, and I liked how it looked when knit. The cotton/wool combo makes it usable as a year round sweater. And I was surprised and delighted when Spud & Chloe sent me a note, out of the blue, that they noticed the Aster Cardigan on Ravelry and wanted to feature it on their blog along with an interview .

New website and new pattern (for free!)

Hooray! I finally have my website up and all my patterns loaded onto it. It was a big undertaking for me to make this website.  I am so very happy  that it is ready, and I want to celebrate and give everyone who subscribes to my mailing list a free pattern to say thank you for visiting my site, and thank you for subscribing to my mailing list. The free pattern is for the Saturday in November .

Line Backer Pull Over

The Linebacker is my latest pattern. I love it that stripes are in style right now and was thinking about how I could design something a little different with stripes. How could I play with stripes or an accent color? This is what I came up with. The Linebacker has stripes in the back but not in the front. From the front it looks like solid pullover with stripes only on the sleeves, but .
