Gauge:
13 sts = 4 inches (10 cm) in Stockinet stitch

Yarn:
Malabrigo Chunky (Pure merino wool); 100g/100 yards (91.44 meters). 1 (1, 1, 1, 2) skeins.

Or use any yarn of similar weight that achieves gauge 56 (68, 80, 99, 120) yards [51 (62, 73, 91, 110) meters].

Needles:
Size 7 (4.5mm): 16″ (40 cm) circular or (for smaller sizes) set of 4 or 5 double-pointed needles.
Size 9 (5.5mm): 16″ (40 cm) circular and set of 4 or 5 double-pointed needles.
Or same size circulars for magic loop method if preferred.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
